GHEI Poly-Tank
The Ghana Health and Education Initiative (GHEI) began implementing a hand washing behavior education campaign in 2009. However, in order to promote community ownership of the program GHEI plans on installing ‘Choose-a-need funded’ POLY-TANKS within community institutions, most notably public schools. A Poly-Tank is a large water storing mechanism with a tap that eliminates the need for daily water fetching. It collects rainwater and then stays filled most of the year. Funded.
