    well, plot-wise, i have to agree windwaker is by far the best. Way underrated. Plus the art direction of the game was well done.

    Easily my favorite Zelda game based on the plot, Link's Awakening. either the original or the DX one will do. Find musical instruments and fighting off nightmares.
